Frequently Asked Questions

Have any questions regarding the auto services that Ron's Body Shop offers? Check out these FAQs and give us a call today for more information!
  • Do I have to use the shop that my insurance company tells me?

Absolutely not. Long story short, it's your vehicle so it's your choice. Collision repair centers are a lot like your family doctor. Some are in the "network" and some aren't. It doesn't mean that you can't use who you want to. Most reputable collision centers want you to "want" to be at their facility instead of feeling trapped into it.

  • Does Ron's Body Shop have any warranty?

Yes! Ron's Body Shop has been serving Central Arkansas for over 45 years and we have always stood behind our workmanship. We pass along all the parts warranties directly to our customers and our workmanship and paint come with a lifetime warranty as long as you own the vehicle. We wish we could guarantee that you wouldn't be involved in another accident and need our services but rest assured that if you do need us, we are here.

  • Can I get all new original equipment (OE) parts? I don't want aftermarket parts.

When insurance companies are involved, Ron's Body Shop does not decide which types of parts are used to repair customer vehicles. Each insurance company includes a clause detailing the types of parts to be used during repair within each individual auto insurance policy. While Ron's Body Shop will advise the insurance company advisor or adjustor of ill-fitting or non-comparable parts, we always give our customers the choice to upgrade to new OE parts. However, this can result in the customer is responsible for the additional costs of parts.

Many automobile manufacturers have "parts price matching" programs. Ron's Body shop utilizes this every day to get our customers the best possible deal each time. These programs allow us to get our customers' OE parts at aftermarket pricing.

Please keep in mind that we are not saying that all aftermarket parts are inferior. In fact, these are many parts that are made in the same facility, just labeled differently at the end of the assembly line. Some aftermarket parts actually come with a much better warranty than that of the OE part. Ron's Body Shop will make sure to give you these options and talk you through any questions and decisions you might have.

  • How long will the repair process take? When will I get my vehicle back?

Each and every repair is different. As soon as your repair plan and parts procurement process has been established we will be able to give you a more accurate estimated time until completion.

  • Why is there a difference between the estimate Ron's Body Shop wrote and what the insurance has paid?

Estimates are exactly what they sound like. Estimates. Your repair facility is best suited to determine the repairs needed for your vehicle bust mostly insurance companies also write estimates to help determine what is to be "paid". That is not an outline of how your vehicle is to be repaired. Again, your repair facility is the one completing the repairs and not the insurance companies. Most all repair facilities work with insurance companies to make sure the vehicle is repaired properly while being economically responsible.
